Services Provided To Eliminate Your Pain
We will discuss the history of your pain, and all of the previous treatments and their effectiveness.
Assessment of all of your medication
We will review all of your medical records and discuss the effectiveness and possible side effects of all your medications. We will consider with you possible changes to your medications.
Communication with other physicians
When appropriate, we will suggest that contact be made with any other physicians currently or previously treating you for your pain.
During your first visit, an assessment of your trunk muscles’ strength and flexibility will be performed. If it is not adequate, that may be the reason for your pain.
Identification of specific muscles that may be the source of your pain
With our patented device, we will be able to determine if muscles are a contributing factor in your pain complaint. Our evaluation can identify the specific muscles causing your symptoms.
Our spasm protocol, first developed at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, can eliminate most spasms in five sessions.
Weakness and stiffness may be the reason for your low back and/or neck pain. Our exercises, first developed at Columbia University School of Medicine, studied 12,000 participants at the YMCA, will restore your strength and flexibility, and facilitate more intense exercises created specifically for your needs.
Persistent Pain anywhere in your body that has not responded to medication, nerve blocks, muscles injections, or surgery
We will identify muscles that were overlooked as the possible cause of your unsuccessfully treated pain. Our patented device and treatment methods can identify the source of the pain, rather than where you just feel it.
Knowing the specific muscle that causes pain allows for specific treatment. When pain has persisted for more than 3 months, the muscle structure has changed. We can normalize the structure with our unique painless injection technique that focuses not only on the painful trigger points in your muscle tissue, but also in the most important pain-producing area, the muscle attachment – where the muscle attaches to the tendon and the tendon attaches to the bone.
The injection technique disrupts pain-producing tissue and allows new normalized tissue to take its place.
Post Injection Treatment
All muscle injections are followed by 3 days of physical therapy. Physical therapy allows the muscle to heal promptly and restore its painless range of motion and strength.
We will use all cutting-edge approaches to reduce or eliminate your dependence on pain medication. If this is not possible, we will provide you with whatever medication is necessary to make you comfortable and improve your function.
We have found low level laser therapy to be an effective method to minimize pain without injections. It has been particularly effective in patients with severe Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. It has also been very effective for patients who had problems with painful tendons.
We work with highly trained physical therapists who provide hands-on individualized treatment, and are attuned to patients who are completely deconditioned and to athletes with injuries preventing their involvement in sports.
